I had the incredible opportunity to curate a vibrant graffiti event in the City of Elgin as part of the electrifying Nightmare on Chicago Street festival. I took charge of assembling a remarkable lineup of talented artists, each ready to transform blank walls into stunning works of art on the event day. To make the application process seamless, I designed an engaging website that allowed artists to submit their applications while showcasing their unique styles through social media links. This platform served not only as an information hub, offering vital details about the graffiti event, but also included an informative FAQ section catering specifically to artists traveling to Elgin, ensuring they felt welcome and prepared. Additionally, I meticulously documented each moment of the event and crafted a captivating video that beautifully showcased the rich history and success of the event from 2001 to 2013, capturing the energy and creativity that defined each year.
