Project Description

I developed a streamlined one-page website using WordPress to boost online visibility and increase bookings. I simplified the site’s structure to clearly communicate who the business is, what they specialize in, and how to get connected — all within a single, user-friendly page. I also integrated a Spanish translation plugin to better serve the target audience, allowing visitors to seamlessly switch between English and Spanish at any time. Strong call-to-action (CTA) elements were strategically placed to encourage online bookings, enabling the website to act as an automated assistant that efficiently converts visitors into clients.

Problem Statement

The client, a bilingual hair salon owner, primarily served a Spanish-speaking clientele but wanted to expand her reach to the broader American market. Despite having a social media presence on Instagram and TikTok, she lacked a professional website and sufficient online visibility.

Additionally, her Google Business Profile and Square booking system were not properly set up, making it difficult for potential clients to find her business online or book appointments efficiently.

Budget constraints also limited her ability to invest in traditional website development services, creating the need for a flexible and affordable solution.
